Abstract

The present study was undertaken with two main objectives in view-first to compare the effect of health status on the academic achievement of the university graduate students, in relation to sex. Second, to study the relationship between the health status and the academic achievement of the university graduate students. The population under study comprises 150 students studying in various streams of education of Noida College of Physical Education, Dhoom Manikpur, G.B. Nagar viz. B.A.B.Ed., B.Ed. and B.P.Ed. The results indicate that the male young students having good or average health status are high in their academic achievement in comparison to the students having poor health status.
