Abstract

Green marketing is a newer issue in the eyes of marketers. It is defined as the marketing of products that are personal to be environmentally safe. There is common perception among the general population that the green marketing refers only to advertising or promoting products that possess environmental characteristics. People associate terms such as recycling with green marketing, but green marketing is a broader concept it is not only altering the advertising of product but also altering production process, changing packaging and modifying products.
