Abstract

The primary aim of this paper is to churn out the socio-economic and health conditions of Dalit women Agricultural Labourers in Harur District, Tamil Nadu. The sample of the study consists of 120 respondents that were selected by multistage random sampling technique. The key objectives of the study are:- 1. To analyse the nutritional status of Dalit women Agricultural Labour in the study area. 2.To spot the factors moving the nutritionary and health status of the Dalit women Agricultural Labour within the study area. The socio-economic status of the Dalit women Agricultural Labour is considerably under the opposite communities. They are living in miserable conditions with no electricity, no proper road and no water on the market. The low financial gain and therefore the poor socio-economic background of the Dalit women Agricultural Labour is that the reason that a number of them haven't visited the hospitals for his or her treatment of diseases.
